Durood Sharif is a revered Islamic invocation in which Muslims send blessings and peace upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Rooted in the Qur’anic command from Surah Al-Ahzab (33:56), it reflects deep love and respect for the Prophet and is considered one of the most rewarding acts of worship.

Engraved inscription reads:

Allahuma salli 'Alaa Muhammadin wa aalihi wa itratihi be 'adadi kuli ma' lumilak

'O Allah shower thy grace upon Mohammad, his family and his companions by the count equal to thy Knowledge.'
